York College of Pennsylvania, a private college located between Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA recently partnered with online bookstore provider, Akademos, to help drive down costs for students and increase overall transparency.
Along with providing access to new, used, marketplace, and materials of all different formats, Akademos and York College of Pennsylvania will also work together to continue to build and expand on the number of Inclusive Access courses offered to students. Inclusive Access has been gaining momentum across the higher education landscape and offers digital materials on or before the first day of class at a discounted rate.
Adam Smith, Textbook and Course Supplies Manager at the school said, “We know course materials are a large expense and by giving students more options, we can help drive costs down.”
With an array of options to choose from directly within the integrated online bookstore, students will have the flexibility and freedom to choose the materials that best fit their needs and budget.
