Ripon College Partners with Akademos to Roll Out Online Store for Branded Merchandise and Textbooks

We are very excited to announce that Ripon College has selected Akademos as its online bookstore and merchandise provider! We are proud to be able to help support Ripon students have a life well lived. The widely respected private liberal arts institution and member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) has been working with us to develop an online store for merchandise and course materials. The new store already is supporting Ripon’s diverse community, with plans to have the full transition complete for the spring 21 semester.

With a revamped merchandise platform and new partnership with American Solutions for Business, Akademos is elevating the eCommerce experience for college and university online bookstores

Our team has been hard at work transforming the eCommerce platform and developing a modern, easy to navigate design to support colleges and universities with the best online bookstore user experience available. Looking at the current trends and the future needs of our partner schools we saw that elevating the merchandise experience with a new look, easier navigation, and a wider selection of course materials, technology, and branded merchandise, would bring a unique value to each user. Over the next few weeks, we will be giving you a sneak peek into the changes happening on our platform and the long-term benefits students will experience because of them.

Akademos chosen to power the College’s new online bookstore and course materials platform

We are thrilled that River Parishes Community College has partnered with us to run their full-service online bookstore. RPCC, a member of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, is among a growing group of higher education institutions using an online retail model to streamline the complex process of managing course materials. The new RPCC online store will launch this summer to support the fall semester

The new platform provides undergraduate students personalized access to low-cost course materials

We are thrilled to announce that Northwest Nazarene University (NNU), a vibrant educational community in Nampa, Idaho, that instills habits of heart, soul, mind, and strength in each student, has selected us to launch its new online bookstore to manage the school’s textbook adoptions and sales. The University’s 2,200 students will have access to a convenient, cost-effective, and efficient course materials solution in addition to their NNU Campus store this fall.

Further promoting exceptional service and advanced technology at Millersville University

We are excited to announce that Student Services, Inc. at Millersville University in central Pennsylvania has partnered with us to provide the university community with a cost saving online bookstore and course materials platform. The university’s more than 7,500 students will benefit from the additional exceptional customer service and advanced technology starting fall 2020.

University to Run On-Campus Merchandise Store as it Moves Books and Course Materials Online 

We are thrilled to announce that Judson University has selected Akademos as its partner to launch a hybrid bookstore model at the school. An evangelical Christian University in Elgin, IL, Judson’s community and more than 1,200 students will be supported by an elevated in-store and online experience. Using Akademos’ premier course materials platform, Judson will move textbook sales online while running an on-campus store for branded merchandise and apparel. The new merchandise store comes just in time to support Judson’s emerging football program, which began last fall.
